For patients considering breast augmentation, I’m very excited to share that I’ve been using the Motiva Preservé implant for some time now, and my patients have been extremely happy with it. I’ve been particularly impressed by its benefits compared with the other tried-and-true implants I offer.
Preservé is an exciting advancement in breast augmentation technology, with a number of important patient benefits. Its minimally invasive surgical approach can be performed without general anesthesia, which can greatly benefit ease of recovery. There is also very little overall downtime. In fact, one patient I recently treated at a surgical congress was at the pool just a few hours after surgery and out to dinner with us that same evening! See photo!
Other important benefits of the Preservé implant include an extremely low reported rate of capsular contracture (less than 1%), little to no rippling, and a beautiful, natural-looking result. It has quickly become a popular choice among my patients who are looking for what I like to call the “ballerina boob”, a delicately shaped, feminine breast with a soft, natural appearance.
Above all, I love that Preservé combines an innovative surgical approach that has so many patient benefits, including an aesthetic result that looks and feels beautiful. If you’re considering breast augmentation and would like to learn more about the Motiva Preservé implant, please call our office, we would be happy to answer your questions.

I’m very excited to introduce my patients to a new addition to my practice, the UltraClear® Laser. Choosing new technology isn’t easy, but UltraClear® stands out for its proven results in treating fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, sun damage, and uneven skin tone, with enhanced comfort, faster recovery, and minimal social downtime!
UltraClear® works by resurfacing the skin while stimulating collagen and elastin. Treatments can be customized from a quick “lunchtime glow” to more intensive resurfacing and are designed for all skin types, including darker skin tones.
As the saying goes, “If you want music, you buy a Stradivarius.” In my opinion, the UltraClear® Laser is the Stradivarius of lasers!
I believe that the success of any skin treatment depends on the experience and skill of the provider. I’ve completed my UltraClear® training, and our two aesthetic nurses are also extensively trained with the technology.
Give our office a call if you’re curious to learn more about UltraClear®. Our aesthetic nurses will be happy to schedule a consultation with you.

I’ve been fortunate to recently join several respected podcast hosts for conversations about facial and body rejuvenation, and I’ve come away with an even greater appreciation for the format. Unlike print interviews, podcasts allow for genuine dialogue, where we can explore the nuances of facial and body rejuvenation, separate myths from reality, and answer the questions patients are often hesitant to ask. I’m grateful to each host for creating a space where education and curiosity meet.
If you’d like to listen, I invite you to explore my conversations with Ageist on Decoding the Complexities of Plastic Surgery; Hack My Age on From Menopause to Maintenance: Pulling Back the Curtain on How Aging Really Works—and Why Starting Earlier May Be the Key to Aging Gracefully; SheSez on Fat Grafting vs. Fillers: A Longer-Lasting, More Natural Look; and A Certain Age, where we had a spirited discussion about today’s virtually undetectable facelift, recovery, cost, the limits of skincare versus surgery, why fillers can sometimes backfire, and how to choose the right plastic surgeon. I hope you’ll enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed these conversations.

As conversations about GLP-1 medications have entered the mainstream, I shared my personal experience with the medication with Vogue editor Fiorella Valdesolo, discussing both the expected drawbacks, which for me have been worth it, as well as the benefits. My mood has improved, my joint pain is gone, and after losing weight, I’m no longer prediabetic.
Having my own experience with GLP-1 medications has also helped me better understand patients who come to see me for facial or body rejuvenation following GLP-1–related weight loss.

Carine Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book is one of my favorite publications, so it was a pleasure to speak with writer Fiorella Valdesolo about the evolving benchmarks in beauty and how plastic surgery is currently experiencing a renaissance. As I mentioned, despite the recent rise of the aspirational “glow-up” culture, there is a resurgence of patients “once again embracing a more restrained approach to plastic surgery and cosmetic dermatology.”
